Rovers Women kick-off their league season with a win

Tranmere Rovers Women’s First Team kicked-off their 2024/25 league campaign with a 1 - 0 home victory over Salford City Lionesses.

The Women’s team have been on an impressive streak of wins recently; beating Rochdale A.F.C. 3 - 2, Ellesmere Port Town 0 - 7, then Bolton Wanderers 4 - 0 to finish pre-season.

There’s no questioning Rovers have been a fierce side lately, and hopes were high ahead of kick-off. The match ended in favour of Tranmere, and the SWA took all 3 points to the table.
