Rovers to host Walsall in League Two fixture

Tranmere Rovers will host Walsall at Prenton park this Saturday in the third match-week of EFL League Two.

Nigel Adkins’ side go into the match having just experienced a shock defeat to Everton U21 in the EFL Trophy. Before the fixture though, they hadn’t lost a match or conceded a goal in the 2024/25 campaign.

Walsall look to keep their position on top of the league table, with the Saddlers currently first with 6 points and a +5 goal difference. Like Tranmere, they have not conceded so far this League Two season.
