All three points taken at home for Tranmere against Bury

Tranmere claimed all three points against Bury in today's (8 September 2024) home fixture.

Tranmere Rovers emerged victorious against Bury at Ellesmere Port Sports Village in the 5th match-week of the North West Women's Regional Football League (NWWRFL).

The match saw goals from captain Lindsey Smith, Ellie Howard, and Laura Williams. Thanks to this result, Tranmere move into to fifth in the NWWRFL table, overtaking Bury, who are now in sixth.

There are 11 clubs in the league and Tranmere have played 5 matches, meaning that there is still 15 matches left in the 2024/25 campaign (of the 20 in each season).
